Religion, Spirituality, and Psycho-social Well-being
Project Leader
Prof. Werner Nell
Description
The aim of this project is to explore the relationship between religion and spirituality and various facets of psycho-social well-being, such as hope, meaning in life, mindfulness, life satisfaction, and affect balance. More specifically, the study investigates how these relationships differ across different socio-demographic groups, and in relation to specific aspects of religiosity and spirituality. The study also seeks to explore and investigate the antecedents and outcomes of religious and spiritual well-being and flourishing with the dual aim of contributing to knowledge and theory in relation to this topic, as well as to serve as basis for informing strategies aimed at enhancing the psycho-social well-being of religious individuals.
